Active ingredient: Diphacinone oily solution (0.5%)

Preparation of bait

Use a grain, granular or other foodstope to prepare food poisoned bait,. The degree of eating poisoned bait depends on the attractiveness of food products taken to prepare bait, culinary processing and appearance of bait and especially the degree of disguise the poison in food. Rodents willingly eat rye and wheat bread, various cereals, wheat flour, oatmeal, pea and rye, raw and boiled vegetables, meat and fish minced meat. Rodents avoid spoiled or moldy food. Rats always prefer bait with sufficient moisture content. It is recommended to add a small amount of salt, sugar, fat for greater attractiveness of food bait. The appearance of the bait should be the same as the usual food that meets rodents.

Mix the nutritional basis and the Ratindan M in the ratio of 44: 1 in the mixers or manually. With 1 liter of 0.5% of the oil solution of diphacinon you can prepare 44 kg of poisoned bait. This amount is sufficient for treatment of 1000-3000 m2, depending on the degree of population of the object by the rodents.

It should be taken into the account that rats and mice have different resistance to poisons, and in addition, with a single reception of food, the rat eat bigger quantity of bait than mice.

Where to place the baits

The bait should be located near the holes and in places where rodents appear. The number of baits depends on the compactness of the rodent population - on average, 200-300 g per bait point. The number of the latter depends on the degree of population of rodents and can be from 1 to 5 points per 100 m2. The bait needs from time to time to be checked and a fresh bait should be added until the eating stops.

The poisoned bait should be placed in sufficient quantities during the entire period of deratization activities. The poison acts better when the baits are eaten by small portions within 4-5 days. If the bait remaines untouched for 3 days - try to find a more suitable place. It is recommended to use 2-3 types of bait at the same time.

A small amount of bait in preventive purposes is laid out in places where the appearance of rats and mice is possible after deratization measures.

Mode of action: Diphacinone is a poison that has anticoagulant effects. When poison is ingested by an animal, it slows blood clotting down, as well as increases the peripheral blood vessels permeability, as a result, leads to hemorrhages. Diphacinone has full-blown cumulative properties (meaning, it builds-up in the body), so consuming it in small amounts over several days ensures rodents death. Due to diphacinone delayed action, rats and mice do not recognize poison consuming the bait; this results in higher efficiency of injurious rodents control. After consuming the baits with diphacinone, rat’s death occur within 5 to 8 days.
