Aquatine AMP (500 ml) is a liquid silicone-based product for mosquito control.

Active ingredient: polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS silicone), 89%

Method of action: Easily applied to the surface of stagnant water; forms a very thin film.

Aquatain operates at the physico-mechanical level, maintaining its effectiveness for at least 4 weeks. The thin silicone film formed on the surface of the water after application impedes the development of mosquitoes in the intermediate stages (larvae and pupae), and also prevents the laying of eggs by females of the mosquito.

Method of administration and dosage:

For large reservoirs: 1 l per 1000 m2 is used in large reservoirs and ponds. Aquatic AMF is poured onto the water surface and spreads rapidly on the water surface, surrounding the aquatic plants and covering the water surface. Repeat after 4 weeks.

For small reservoirs: for standing water in drains, gutters, water tanks, old tires Aquatain AMF is used 1 ml per 1 m2 (for information one teaspoon contains 5 ml). Repeat after 4 weeks.

Additional information: The presence of PDMS silicone does not alter such water parameters as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, hardness, ammonia and nitrogen content. In particular, the amount of dissolved oxygen is within acceptable limits for the survival of aquatic life. PDMS silicone may come into contact with drinking water. Does not cause allergies.
